The Martial Arts Industry Association, in collaboration with MAIA Elite, proudly presented Game Changers this year in Orlando, Florida. Over two days, more than 300 attendees had the privilege of participating in business and instructor seminars led by industry luminaries. This article will recap some of the event's highlights.

Day One

The weekend kicked off with a colossal networking session hosted by Mike Metzger on Friday. This provided all attendees with a wonderful opportunity to get acquainted. Witnessing school owners, instructors, and program directors learn from one another and gain insights into the operations of different schools was truly remarkable. Understanding the strategies implemented by successful schools was invaluable for those seeking to elevate their own business practices.

Following the networking sessions, participants dispersed into separate rooms, each dedicated to different tracks. These rooms covered essential topics for owners, instructors, and program directors alike. Notable seminars included Cris Rodriguez's discourse on Essential Business Systems, Kurt Klingenmeyer's presentation on Increasing Booking Appointments, Michael Perri's journey in martial arts and transforming it into a career, and Stefanie Conner's seminar on becoming the best program director for your school.

After nearly five hours of engaging seminars, the day concluded with a delightful rooftop networking session. Here, everyone unwound after a day of learning, enjoyed some karaoke, and fostered connections with fellow attendees in a relaxed atmosphere.

Day Two

The second day of seminars commenced early, with Mike Metzger welcoming everyone back to the main room. The day was packed with notable talks, including Mike Metzger's exploration of Culture Killers, Master Bill Wallace imparting training tips to a room full of instructors, Shane Tassoul's coverage of hosting a 7 Figure Holiday event, and Adam Parman's comprehensive 2-hour Customer Service workshop.

The day concluded with everyone convening in the main room for a question-and-answer session with the attendees.
